Custom Muay Thai Shorts — Traditional Satin Fight Shorts

Muay Thai shorts are judged on cut and finish more than any other fight short — the short, high-cut leg opening and wide waistband aren't stylistic choices, they're functional for the sport's signature knee and clinch work, and getting the proportions wrong is immediately obvious to anyone who trains. We cut ours from satin-finish polyester with a wide, low-rise elastic waistband, which sits below the navel for hip mobility during Thai clinch and knee strikes. Leg openings sit high on the thigh, wider than an MMA short, to avoid restricting knee height. Side embroidery or appliqué panels (traditional Thai-style detailing) are available alongside sublimated printing, since a portion of the Muay Thai market specifically wants the traditional embroidered look rather than an all-over sublimated design. Fabric is treated for shine retention, since satin loses its finish with washing faster than standard poly if it's not treated correctly at the mill stage — a detail that separates a proper Muay Thai short from an MMA short relabeled.
