Custom BJJ Gi — Competition & Training Kimonos

A BJJ gi is graded on weave and grip resistance more than any other spec — the fabric has to withstand constant pulling, gripping, and washing without the weave loosening or the jacket losing its shape mid-roll. We manufacture in pearl weave for lighter, competition-focused gis and gold weave for heavier training gis that see daily mat time, since the two weave types serve different priorities (weight and IBJJF-legal thickness vs. grip durability under high-frequency use). Collars are reinforced with a rubberized core beneath the fabric, the single most failure-prone point on a budget gi, since collar grips are constant in BJJ and a soft collar breaks down within months. Pants use a reinforced knee panel and ripstop fabric at the high-wear inner-thigh area, where friction from closed guard positions wears through standard pant fabric fastest. We produce IBJJF-legal weights and cuts for competitors alongside a lighter, non-competition training line for gyms outfitting a full roster at lower cost. Minimum order is 20 units per size run, sample lead time 12 working days (gi production requires additional weave and pre-shrink testing), bulk production 25 to 30 days.
